Team averda crewed by amateur sailors competing in EFG Sailing Arabia - The Tour 2015, taking on the challenge against professional sailors.

The spectacular race across the Arabian Peninsula is the region’s foremost long distance sailing endurance race, between Muscat and Bahrain. The race, in its 5th year, is also becoming recognised as a premier professional racing platform where sailors’ skills are honed and developed competing over 15 days covering 760 nautical miles in the Arabian Gulf in a combination of offshore and inshore races.Malek Sukkar, averda’s CEO commented: “It gives us pleasure to support an ambitious, hard working and disciplined team.
