Final days for Saving America’s Horses HOPE Tees for Horses

(EINPresswire via NewMediaWire) - March 23, 2015 - Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) today announced the final two days of its HOPE Tees for Horses campaign, a special fundraiser event under its Saving America’s Horses Initiative. WFLF launched its first ‘HOPE Tees for Horses’ fundraising t-shirts in January as part of its ‘Give Horses Hope’ campaign. WFLF stepped up its creative efforts to raise awareness and funds to aid victimized horses in 2015, following its recording breaking year of wild horse rescue and recovery in 2014. Proceeds from the ‘HOPE Tees for Horses’ project work to instantly provide lifesaving rescue, urgently needed quality care, nutritious food, transport and safe housing for homeless roundup and cruelty victims. 
Each month Saving America's Horses unveils a new design featuring lifelike images of majestic horses. This month’s Saving America’s Horses ‘HOPE Tees for Horses’ design features COCHISE, an American wild Navajo Mustang. After losing his freedom, his home and his family, this sacred Navajo Mustang was about to lose his life. His is touching story of courage, survival, love and triumph is raising awareness and crucial funds to aid victimized wild horses in need. COCHISE is featured on the front of these shirts running to meet his surviving family members as they reunite at Wild For Life Foundation’s rescue and recovery center. Over the last several months, WFLF has rescued and provided emergency and ongoing care for more than 200 imperiled, neglected, abused, starved and homeless wild horses, including 17 pregnant mares and twenty four orphan foals who came through its doors. “While we were indeed successful in saving and permanently re-homing approximately one hundred and twenty five of these horses, not all of them were adoptable,” added Sandi Claypool, WFLF heritage herd manager. “WFLF’s Mustang Sanctuary & Recovery Center therefore started off this year with approximately seventy five additions that recently arrived, and a good number of them came in thin, nursing, or pregnant and requiring special nutritional care and medical procedures,” added Ms. Louise.
Through no fault of their own, these innocent cruelty victims oftentimes find themselves destined for gruesome slaughter, but WFLF works around the clock to save and protect these majestic icons in effort to assure they will never be at risk of roundup or slaughter again.
