Who knew a whisper could be so powerful? Beginning this Thursday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. visitors to the UCLA Hammer Museum are invited to participate in KCHUNG Radio’s Whisper Reports, a series of news reports and interviews on subjects such as museum programming and staff and visitor fashion, all conducted at the hushed volume of a museum whisper. KCHUNG Radio is the public engagement artist-in-residence at the Hammer through early December. Established in 2011, KCHUNG is a creative hub of artists, musicians, philosophers and tinkerers broadcasting live on 1630AM and 1610AM. While in residence at the Hammer, KCHUNG will broadcast its regular programing on-site as well as new programs developed for the museum.
